My name is Bart, and I’ve had a passion for the moving image from a very early age. I’ve worked as a Lighting Cameraman for over 20 years, contributing to programmes and productions for clients including the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Sky, Channel 5, Al Jazeera, ESPN, PlayStation, Boeing, JP Morgan, and major labels such as Disney, Warner, Universal, and Decca.
I’m equally comfortable shooting fast-moving actuality as I am lighting interviews, music performances, or more controlled set scenes. I enjoy getting the best from each location—carefully positioning subjects, shaping light, and selecting the right camera and lens combinations to achieve the strongest possible results.
Alongside camera work, I have over five years’ experience running an award-winning production company, with roles spanning directing, producing, and editing. This broader perspective has strengthened my visual storytelling and problem-solving skills.
